Roger, clutching at straws, any change on this one?

Oh no! That's such a pity. Disney should just buy them - problem solved. Would a re-recording be more achievable?

Hopefully the elements are preserved/transferred in case anything changes?

As many of you know, I've been trying to pull this project off for 10 years now. I finally heard definitively from the licensor that they have no interest in licensing any back catalog. It's unfortunate because earlier on we transferred a test reel and there was some deterioration present. I mentioned that the situation only gets worse and we really should get the rest transferred, but that didn't seem to resonate much. So for now at least it's not a possibility.

Damn Roger, that's heartbreaking...but thanks for keeping us updated on the situation.

Why wouldn't a licensor want to make money off of something that's just sitting around NOT making money for them? Makes no business sense whatsoever. They have absolutely NOTHING to lose. SMDH.

Still bummed that this won't happen. It would have been the greatest thing ever. Now, I will just have to settle with Jeff Goldblum punching a nun on Conan's NBC show as the greatest thing ever.

I think he was referring to MULAN.

I suppose his comment could apply to all three even if he referred to one of them. Leviathan held up by some Italian studio, Supergirl held up by who knows anymore, and Mulan held up by Disney.

Why can't these problems ever happen to a score like Jade instead of an exciting score like Volunteers? Oh how the soundtrack Gods smite thee.
