More CDs by Miles Goodman, please... This is one of my favourites, and would be a great addition to the Intrada Special Collection :D

A forgotten 1983 gem by James Horner. If this one doesn't deserve a CD release, then nothing deserves it
It fits like a glove to the Intrada Special Collection, doesn't it? :D

Great cover. Although we dropped the logo on the cover. And the score is just 10 minutes long so couldn't be a standalone album. Question is what to pair it with?

No logo? Then, better this way.

Personally, I like a good logo on the cover. It brings nice memories of past releases... and it is an interesting element to play with, when composing the image.
As for the length of The Dresser score, 10 minutes only? That's perfect for the first Intrada CD-Single release, at a specially reduced price!!! It sounds well, isn't it? :D

If it really is only 10 minutes, then just throw it on top of anything else released from the same studio. Does thematic album integrity of adding a 10-minute score really matter at this point, especially when considering all the hodgepodges we've seen in recent times?

Time now for a beautiful score composed by excellent Marc Wilkinson for a British movie, The Darwin Adventure, directed by American cinematographer Jack Couffer in 1972. It is a very little-known film, whose music has haunted me since I watched it on TV as a child. The cover is based on the original poster of the film.

Another gem from Mr. Wilkinson, THE HIRELING is a period drama starring Robert Shaw and Sarah Miles, directed by Alan Bridges in 1973. As far as I know, apart from the amazing BLOOD ON SATAN'S CLAW, no other score by Marc Wilkinson has been available on CD. :(

A horror rarity for Christmas time. TV man Elliot Kaplan composing one of his few original scores for the B.I.G. screen: from 1976, THE FOOD OF THE GODS soundtrack as released by American International Records (if they had wanted to do it).

Another weird horror movie, now with a dinamic and enjoyable score composed by great Lalo Schifrin for a William Girdler surreal movie from 1978, THE MANITOU. Two covers this time, one inspired by the US original poster, and the flip side using the Spanish art created by Macario Gómez (Mac) for the video release. There are still several unreleased Schifrin scores that deserve to be preserved on CD, like this one and the other he composed for a previous Girdler flic, the hilarious DAY OF THE ANIMALS (cover coming soon).

And the flip side...

From the vaults of Columbia Pictures comes a wonderful score by George Duning for a 1961 movie directed by John Ford: TWO RODE TOGETHER. Mr. Duning did it again and wrote a main theme for the ages.

Sad news about Schifrin's THE MANITOU. Let's hope that Samuel Matlovsky's haunting score for Curtis Harrington's GAMES (1967) is still sound and safe in the Universal vaults. Any chance for this one? :D

A classy score by Elmer Bernstein for this refreshing comedy directed by Lewis John Carlino in 1983. This is the only Bernstein score from that year waiting to be properly released on CD... SPACEHUNTER: ADVENTURES IN THE FORBIDDEN ZONE and the Oscar nominee TRADING PLACES are the other two.
