The Final Countdown by John Scott — VERY cool cue! I thought we’d been told the JOS release was the complete score. Hmm.

Soundtrack albums have made me strongly dislike the designation "complete." Forget "complete" and simply trust that they are as complete as reasonably possible. People can only release what they have in their possession.

I'm not sure what that is Lokutus, but I really dig it. I'm guessing it's a Beltrami score... Is it Deep Water? I know Intrada put out a promo of it.

There are a half dozen unreleased cues total from this score, most less than half a minute, as well as some unreleased beginnings of released cues. The two more substantial ones above are the only ones I particularly miss having on album, though.

Yes, it's got to be Studs Lonigan.

When I first listened, I did think of George Duning. Especially the strings at the end of "Hello Dad". They very much have a Duning quality to me, almost like an outtake from The World of Suzie Wong or something.
