Intrada Soundtrack Forum

2018 was a terrible year for 99 reasons, but soundtrack releases sure ain't one of 'em.

So Intrada has one more batch of 2 or 3 albums, and La-La Land apparently has one batch of 5 left. Is there anything known about what Quartet, Music Box, Varese, Kronos or Kritzerland have to offer?

Ah, TWINE samples were made for "Bomb" and "Snow Business." Smart move to prove that the previously unreleased score does have some great respites from otherwise chaotic tones.

Varese are indeed releasing more titles: four Grusin scores on three CDs, on their Limited Edition archival strand (which is basically CD Club to me).

Excellent Grusin collection with three so-called "grails" in one. As soon as I saw the titles announced I figured it would all be mono, so stereo And Justice for All was a pleasant surprise.

One question for anyone who may know. Is Murder by Death partially sourced from film stems?

Quartet Christmas batch announced Dec 7th.

From September: "We're starting today the probably most ambitious and exciting project in the history of Quartet Records. Can’t wait!"

From today: "Project completed and in the plant right now! It will be announced in our Christmas batch on December 7th. It's something totally unexpected and a milestone, and we are very proud and happy of it."
