Went with the Silver perk, because silver is the neatest metal and the Silver Age offered the best film/TV music. Or something like that.

I wish him luck on this potential career breakthrough.

Just 10K to go. All we need is Hans Zimmer to claim his perk. Not asking him to score this short and the constant insults he gets on forums probably doesn't help, though.

I quite like the idea of donating and getting my own IMDB page (I assume anyone who donates enough to get a credit on the film will get one, even if it's a 'Puppy-Hating Serial Killer' for 39 dollars)

Lukas just added a crazily priced package to his campaign. It was too good an offer to turn down. They are going fast (12 out of 20 sold overnight).

From Watertower Music: INTERSTELLAR (deluxe CD box set package - the one that goes for $100 on ebay), Westworld (new TV series, season 1), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 (deluxe CD package, size of an LP case); LP of The Wizard of Oz; and digital downloads of The Omega Man (FSM master), Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Mad Max: Fury Road, Sherlock Holmes, Logan's Run (FSM master) and Batman Begins. (I can't even find the prices for most of these!)

From Kritzerland: A Boy Named Charlie Brown, the classic 1969 Vince Guaraldi/Rod McKuen soundtrack to the first Charlie Brown feature film (the spelling bee one). This is out of print but retailed for $19.95.

From Quartet Records: Two 3CD sets, Kiss the Girls (Mark Isham plus Carter Burwell rejected score) and The Bad News Bears Trilogy (music by Jerry Fielding, Craig Safan and Paul Chihara). These go for $29.95 each.

From composer Penka Kouneva: Two great concept albums from Varèse Sarabande, The Woman Astronaut ($17.98) and The Rebirth of Id ($13.98).

From BuySoundtrax: Dumbstruck CD (documentary score by the late Daniel Licht, first 20 units autographed by the composer). Retail price of the non-autographed copies, $9.98.

I only went for this one because I know I can sell the Interstellar box on ebay and make my money back. Dreading the shipping ($35), bank charges (I can't use Paypal), and UK customs penalty, but as I said, Interstellar and some of the other stuff will cover the costs.

There have unfortunately been some bad instances of film projects that raise a lot of money and don't make the film, particularly the Star Trek "Axanar" project which made extraordinary stupid choices...so I don't blame people for being dubious about these types of fundraisers.

I think people know me from my decades of doing this that I will be responsible with the money.

If we do not reach the goal, the credit card authorizations are canceled and the funds effectively refunded.

As you can imagine, I am hoping that doesn't happen!!!
