I've never heard a Hugo Friedhofer score I didn't like, my faves on CD are:
One-Eyed Jacks Seven Cities Of Gold In Love & War Boy On A Dolphin The Rains Of Ranchipur
Most of these are sold out now, but I see you can still buy the re-release of One-Eyed Jacks from Kritzerland, what a fantastic soundtrack, & the remaining few will go fast once the Blu-ray is released ( which hopefully won't be too long). I have a few Leigh Harline's, but I don't tend to listen to them much these days, funny, as my most wanted fifties soundtrack is Harline's, 24 Paces To Baker Street, & my most wanted Friedhofer is White Feather (both Fox), I wonder if the tapes have survived for these films. I do miss those Fox fifties two-fer Intrada releases.
...& I see Friedhofer's THE RAINS OF RANCHIPUR/SEVEN CITIES OF GOLD/THE BLUE ANGEL two-CD set is still available at Kritzerland records, like One-Eyed Jacks, a must have.
