I can see my previous suggestions for the releases of scores to "It Could Happen to You," (Carter Burwell) "Real Men" (Miles Goodman) and "The Beniker Gang" (???) went over like gangbusters.
I figure now that I'm on a roll, there are two additional scores that I'd very much like to see expanded releases for.
1) John Williams' score for "AI: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE" 2) James Newton Howard's score for "THE POSTMAN"
Yes, both these had official soundtrack releases, but the selections are truncated (especially for The Postman).
Aside from the fact that both movies take place in a future in which some cataclysmic event has happened, they also share another trait in that neither one was particularly well received. (AI's reception was tepid, while The Postman was outright mocked by critics and shunned by audiences.) Still, I love them both, and would love it if more music from their respective worlds was made available.
