I never cared for the 4th one. I think it shouldn't have been made. I only like the first 3 Jaws movies.

Say what you will of the Jaws movies (from masterpiece to trainwreck) but they do all have awesome music, and Smalls score for the 4th entry is as exciting as the first and it´s great to see this terrific score finally get an official release from the Intradaboys. Thanks alot for e welldone job guys

Listening to it now! What a fantastic release.

The sound is very good, although there's a bit of low hiss in some tracks, but nothing distracting. I know Intrada prefers a bit of hiss than loosing fidelity and I think it is the right decision.

The highlights for me remain the Main Titles - probably the best rendition of the shark theme - Ellen's Dream, Shark Takes Bait and the amazing tracks from the finale of the film (from Picking Up Signals to the end is one amazing track after the other).

In this score more than in the other Jaws you have some short tracks, and I have in fact preferred to edit some of then toghether (identification with Run/Funeral, which are both related to the aftermath of Seans death, Ellen Plays With Thea with Jaws The Revenge, which are subsequent scenes in the movie, Picking Up Signals with Michael Attacked, which are subsequent scenes in the movie and the finale of Michael Attacked also returns to the motiv of Picking Up Signals and Michael Runs For Help with Plane Buzzes Shark, due to becaming familiar with these tracks toghether in the promo). The only merger which breaks the chronological sequence I did was Saying Goodnight with Peek-A-Boo, the first is a wonderful track but too short and I prerred to follow it with another 'family' moment of the score. Other than that I preferred to incude Runaway Bay after the end credits, as it is a source cue and I think it breaks a bit the mood of the score in the middle of it.

On the use of the score in the film I think that not much editting took place after the score was recorded. Almost all music in the Cd is used where intended. Some tracks were omitted but I think it was more because they might have been too 'happy' for the film (Flight To The Bahamas, Tagging The Conchs, Ellen Plays With Thea are the unused tracks, but the scenes for wich they were intended are in the film without music. Only the finale seems to have been reedited, using a portion of Sean Attacked in the film before returning to Shocked Shark, but the rest is mostly used with the ocasional fade out except the End Credits that was replaced with the Main Titles looped.

The only thing I'm not much a fan is the electronic 'hoar' effect Michael Small used in several tracks, I'd have preferred if alternate versions without it had been included (like Intrada just did with Escape To Witch Mountain) specially the Main Titles and Sean Attacked - but I know it would not be possible because it was in the original stereo mixes used.

All thinghs considered this is the best release I could have hoped for this score, and after having waited more than 25 years for it I'm more than happy!

Thank you for this output. I would like to take but I'll take Jaws 3d desired to complete the collection. Can we expect a second pressing of alan parker score in the near future?

I edited a short suite with some selections from the score. I edited the tracks "Sean Attacked" and "Shocked Shark" as they are edited at the finale of the film.

I've been sending requests for this soundtrack to La La Land Records for literally years. Every six months or so I would check their website to see if it had ever been released. I wasn't even aware that Intrada was planning to release this -- I just happened to be looking at replacing my old original JAWS soundtrack on Amazon and came across an Intrada listing for JAWS the Revenge.

I didn't even look for track info, I ordered it straight away (free Prime shipping is my best friend). I can't wait to get it in, I've been waiting for an official release of the extended soundtrack for over 20 years. Thank you for getting this out there, guys.

Now if only someone would re-issue the Army of Darkness soundtrack...
