Has David Shire's score to the 1978 film Straight Time been released on LP or CD in the past? And would this film score warrant a full Intrada release? It's a bit of an unknown as to whether this enjoyable score has ever been or never was released in the past. I can't find much evidence of an official release. Maybe there was?

Nothing has been released outside of the main title on a Shire promo. It is a very short score if I remember correctly, but I also want it released.

There's plenty of obscure-ish Warner stuff to choose from for a possible pairing.

Thanks T. Newman for the response. Another short score. I do like the main title music by Shire. I look foward to hearing what's available from this score on a future CD release by Intrada. Fingers crossed that Return To Oz gets the full Intrada treatment at somepoint. Shire is probably one of my favourite composer's of soundtrack music. He was under-rated for a time, but releases by FSM with Taking of Pelham 123 and Intrada with The Conversation and The Hindenburg seem to of helped put Shire back on the map again.

Another vote for STRAIGHT TIME, which I have "voted for" many times before. As for another "obscurish" WB title to pair it with, one could do much worse than two from 1978: STRAIGHT TIME (Shire) and BLOODBROTHERS (Elmer Bernstein).
