Contis LOCK-UP rerelease by Varese...and nobody says a word?

Varese has (quietly?) released a reissue of the Bill Conti Score LOCK-UP. Only 1500 units. Has no one seen this or does everybody else here already own this score?

I myself missed the Intrada release from many years ago and I am very happy its on the market again. Also it is not yet in the SAE top Ten sales chart. Am I the only one excited?

Together with DEEP RISING and X-MEN DOFP (and Barrys ROBIN AND MARIAN) I instantly ordered Contis LOCK-UP.

Dude.. I'm with you: it's a kick-a** score! Along with the other scores you mentioned, makes for a sweet evening of film music excellence!

A lot gets released without mention here since this is an Intrada-centric forum, and a good number of people already have the Intrada release. It's an enjoyable score worth the price just for the main title alone.

Varese has been slipping in some other good stuff as of late, such as Who is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe?, Dan Curtis' Dracula, and the soundtrack album for Sharky's Machine.

It looks as if we have an expanded Predator 2 to look forward to as well.

Oh don't worry, someone did mention that this score was getting re-released and I jumped on the bandwagon. I missed out on the Intrada release, but I knew not to miss this one.

Coincidently I just happened to have this in my car listening a couple days ago. Yeah it's a great score.

Lock Up has known a decent success in its time, a time, let's recall it, where there wasn't the tons of releases we get today... Drown in the hundreds of limited editions still available today, I'm not sure Lock Up can know the same success...

It seems that Henry is desperately awaiting a new Conti premiere.

Speaking of which, just the other day I was thinking about how I could really go for a premiere release of Conti's spoof score for Spy Hard. Hopefully Intrada has that at the forefront of their Disney plans. I think Henry would approve.

I'm back! I missed you guys. I'm doing well. I own everything by Conti that has been released, and am now working on my Williams and Goldsmith collections. I'm especially looking for Williams THE TOWERING INFERNO, but not having much luck, hopefully it will be reissued soon. SPY HARD would be a great release. I would also love BABY BOOM, one of my favorites. How are you guys doing?
