Whenever I try to add any of the upcoming releases to the cart I'll get the following message: This item is no longer available.

Anyone having the same problem or is it just on my end?

Yes, and then I end up pre-ordering from SAE. I would rather give Intrada my business but on some of the limited releases I like to make my order ASAP.

Since I am still waiting for SAE to finally ship my order with Mac and Me because 1 month wasn't enough time for them to restock one additional item, I am not that eager to pre-order anything from SAE and would definitely prefer Intrada... so hopefully this error will be solved soon...

It is most definitely not intentional. You should be able to pre-order anything listed on the Coming Soon page. I had received about three or four emails about this a few months ago from a few customers with the same problem, and I could never figure out why it was happening with a small amount of our customers. But it seems to work fine for most folks, as we get many pre-orders coming in every day through the website.

Perhaps if you could tell me what browser you are using, I can attempt to get to the bottom of this.

Lokutus, try using Firefox or Chrome instead of I.E.

On my work system (Windows 7 Ultimate), I can pre-order items just fine in the latest versions of Firefox or Chrome. If I attempt the same in IE11, I get "This item is no longer available."

Ah, that must be it. I generally use Firefox, not Internet Explorer. I just tried it using IE and I did get the error message you described. What's interesting is that if I click on the item first and then add the item to my cart from the item page, it works. So that might be a temporary workaround as well. But I'll see if we can get the tech dummies to fix this issue.

Currently I am mostly on Opera and it's the same problem (IE too).
It's true that all works without any difficulties with Mozilla.

but as Jeff described above it doesn't work only if you try to add anything directly from the coming soon page, if you try it from the individual album page, it's OK with all three browsers.

And I remember sitting at my desk waiting for mail - yep, envelopes with stamps on them and addresses written on them by hand (!) - and opening them up with my once useful and really cool but now dormant letter opener and pulling out checks (yeah, pieces of paper with numbers on them we could actually trade for money at our bank) and filling orders courtesy a handy dandy "order form". It was a really great system. Not once did I ever get a complaint from someone saying their order form rejected a title and whatnot.

Things were great in those days.

Ah, but then some of those checks did bounce... so never mind.
