The alternate design for North By Northwest is hilarious. Not only does the bi-plane look like it's attacking Cary Grant from within the mountain gorge, director Alfred Hitchcock even makes one of his famous cameo appearances atop Mount Rushmore, taking "artistic license" to new heights.

You know, I'm glad Intrada put up the alternative covers for their albums that have them. But, it came to my attention, that I've seen one album that has an alternative cover that hasn't been put up, and that one is The War Wagon. Now I'm not trying to sound ungrateful to the hard-working folks at Intrada for their efforts, believe me nothing could be further from the truth, but I just wanted to bring this to attention because that is one soundtrack that I really like and it is the only one that doesn't seem to have a link to its alternative cover art by Joe Sikoryak. Thank you for your time in reading.

Perhaps I can help out some of the people that rip their CD's to digital collections.

I used the collectorz software to create a website with my collection. You can find it here:

I scanned most of my cover artwork, with still close to 140 titles to do.
Either browse to the list, or use the search function. If you click on a cover, a larger version will open in a popup window.

If you can use any to spice up your digital library, feel free to do so.

I think that alternative covers are a great addition.
For one thing, it would allow movies that had different titles outside the U.S. to have their own title on artwork.
I have the original Paramount LP but the complete music score I would most love to have is Ron Goodwin's Those Daring Young Men in Their Jaunty Jalopies a.k.a. Monte Carlo Or Bust which could look like this... (updated images)

Now that the website has gotten such a fantastic relaunch, wouldn't it be the perfect moment to add the equally fantastic secondary cover of "War Wagon" as well? :D

P.S.: Love all the lovely additional bells and whistles you've introduced, such as: Backside Cover, Doug's Tech Talk, Musicians List, ...
Thank you very much! :)

We are working on this.

I have been adding our alternate and older covers. If we got'em we'll display'em. These include covers that were never full size on our previous store site or what was put outside of the 'store site'.

I have been working from our newest to our oldes of the Special Collection series. I have completed Disney, and Excalibur. Once the Special Collection is finished the Signature series full size covers will be added.

I know that I had originally started out alphabetically from "Z" up and got through "U" War Wagon was updated with the only cover I had available in our archive.

I just created a post for the AVA covers (which are located outside of our 'store site':

We keep Mark pretty busy around here so please give him time to get older covers up as time permits. It's important, yes, but it isn't our absolute highest priority. With our new website and happily a sizeable increase in activity around here, we also want him working on other things as well. Never let it be said we don't keep our web hamster busy. We even let him have a few food pellets in between his chores! (We're still working on the tread wheel, however. He hates it.)
