Intrada Soundtrack Forum

While Varese worked on an album of this flavorful score, something halted its widespread distribution. This suggests to me that Varese might not have the album rights today. This could be a good thing as a complete release should be rather highly demanded by today's film score consumers.

If the album rights are available, Intrada is the go-to label because of their association with Disney.

I'd be down for a copy of this, lets hope Intrada can do it justice if they are able to do so that is.
Intrada done an amazing job on Conti's Five Days From Home, so would love to see this under there banner for sure.

I wonder what the exact reason was for Varese canceling their album last minute. The music probably has broader appeal than what is featured on many of the other albums they released at the time.

The small quantity of copies that did make it out have made it among the rarest soundtrack albums. I just noticed that SAE is selling a copy for $500. Crazy.

Was'nt the reason for it's cancelation that they changed the title of the film from BLOOD IN, BLOOD OUT to BOUND BY HONOR just before it was released?

I own the Varese disc, it's fantastic!

Has there been any definitive word as to whether Varese perpetually controls this score through initial agreement?

Even if someone does own the scarce CD that was pulled, having this expanded in the age of manageable AFM fees will reveal a true work of art.
