I recently viewed this movie and found it pretty good. I really loved the score by Victor Young and Max Steiner and I wonder if anything of it survives. If so, I think it would make a good release.

It is a great Sam Fuller film. The scene with the little oriental boy and the black American soldier at the end is touching as hell. No one tells the story of societal misfits and outcasts as well as Sam Fuller did.

Totally agree with you. He was a terrific film maker.
