Dear Intrada,

Please consider limiting BUYSOUNDTRAX.COM from the number they can order in the future. If you really don't like the eBay scalpers and profiteers then you will do this. They are the one soundtrack company that week-after-week offer out-of-print limited edition CDs at substantially marked up prices when they could have sold them to their "loyal" customers. I can't tell you the number of GREAT ESCAPEs, JOE VERSUS THE VOLCANOs, and CAPRICORN ONEs (in their case "CaRpricorn One" ) they have listed repeatedly. Last week they had CAPRICORN ONE (again mispelled "Carpricorn") with a starting price of $69.95

It didn't sell, and they have since relisted it at a price of $49.95. Who knows how many they have left in inventory.

I wish all companies could be as honest and caring of their customers as Intrada. If we all know the business practices of BUYSOUNDTRAX.COM and their disregard of the customer, then why would Intrada want to continue to supply them with these limited editions?

Good point. I'd been including Buysoundtrax along with Screen Archives and Movie Music, thinking since they're a vendor they shouldn't have a limit like individual ebay scalpers would...but obviously (and consistently), they use their status as a vendor to get a large number of limited titles, a sizeable chunk of which they hold back from their store and auction off later. Don't let them have their loophole is my opinion.

Some comments to BSX are actually harsh, or at least seem so until you see how they do business:

I like my copy of Inchon. The packaging, liner notes, and music are all really nice. While I'm not a big Goldsmith fan I couldn't get the Inchon love theme out of my head all week, so I'm glad I have a copy just for that.

I really enjoy everything about Intrada. The anything goes section is a favorite of mine (Have to add one of those scores to every order). I think it's great that you guys from Intrada take the time to talk to us on the board as well and answer questions. It's really fun.

It´s really a wonderful edition and a joy to listen to. That those ebay things sometimes take strange turns lies in the nature of things. You cannot blame Intrada on it. I passed a kind of releases (eg. Bandolero) but the world didn´t go under. Sometimes you get the items a little bit later and in the meantime i go in the garden and play with my children. I would have closed all those threads about this matter much sooner.
By the way: my little son Aaron (15 month) really likes the main title of Inchon.
