Intrada Soundtrack Forum

Hi all,

A complete version of James Newton Howard's Alive score is one of my most wanted scores. I never see it in anyones wish lists despite the fact that the original album was extremely short and long out of print.

Is there any demand for this at all. There is plenty of unreleased material, not only from the actual film but to the accompanying documentary that appeared on the DVD. The doc featured different arrangements of JNH's music.

It appears the score is well respected and considered one of JNH's best early scores. The film was a Touchstone movie and Intrada, with their Disney connections, seems the most likely label to release this. Should I keep my fingers crossed?

I would totally order this.

Anybody know if Hollywood Records keeps the rights like Varese?

Hollywood Records is Disney owned so I assume there shouldn't be much issue if Intrada decided to release this.
