Predator perfectionist alert. Yep. I'm the one to blame. As we were playing the CD, and Jeff and Steve were filling orders from this last Tuesday, I heard a tiny dip in volume during a cue that just didn't appeal to me. Others around here don't hear anything but me... sadly being a perfectionist, feels the darn thing can be improved. With all of the activity from last week, fortunately orders for Predator were literally just being filled. So I caught the anomaly in time.

What this means? I've requested new pressings and they should arrive within two weeks. As soon as they do, we'll rush the orders to you. My apologies for being such a perfectionist on this project but, given the popularity of the music and the multiple releases this score has enjoyed, I just want to ensure people that this issue is the best it can be. So please hang on for just a few more days. Thank you!

I will get around ordering this version too (already owning the V-Club and Intradas 1st release) but this new CD seems to be the best of the best i.m.o and you can never get enough Silvestri Predator anyway...

I think perfectionism is something we can all relate to...especially when it comes to music and getting things right.

Im sure most people wouldn't have even noticed the issue...but I can understand your position on it. This is why Intrada is popular amongst film soundtrack collectors...you always put out quality products. I placed my order shortly after it was announced...and I really don't mind waiting a few extra weeks!

I appreciate your honesty and transparancy.

I'll take Doug's "perfectionist" obsession [no, not the score] anydya over Varese Sarabande's "Don't give a crap" attitude a year or two ago when one of their new score CD's (I forget which one) turned out to be lossy sourced. That little mess, as I recall, was never fixed.

As for Predator, this decision certainly shows integrity. The thorough quality control is especially impressive when the label has been releasing so many soundtracks as of late.

I have a theory, though:

Doug naps on the toilet, and sleeps in the shower, that way he saves some time for more work.

Cool, no worries then about duplication etc.

Now to focus on the upcoming Disney goodies…
