On this island we already have a wonderful selection of Scores available and you can bring an additional 10+1 scores of your choice. The +1 (the eleventh) score MUST BE a synthy/electronic Score. If you can't do this just leave the eleventh spot empty... Other than that the same "rules" apply as before...viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4646

Which ten would you choose? Remember, it is for your own listening pleasure. For sunny and for rainy days. There is no right or wrong answer. The market value of your CDs does not matter (you will get them back when you return home years later) Just your personal taste and the re-listening (over and over again....) quality of the Scores you choose.

I understood the original desert island scores to be special favorites and not necessarily "greatest" film scores.
I expect many listeners will find a score special because they love the film or because of some other "extra musical" connotations.
This second batch once again does not include several composers whose music I greatly admire and enjoy, Freidhofer, North, Tiomkin, A Newman, Raksin, Rosenman, Steiner, Waxman, etc.
There are just a few more scores that fill that "special" category before we get down to the "admire and enjoy" scores.
Since I have to pick an "electronic" score, I guess this would be a favorite:
