hope for a complete score, it's Jerry Goldsmith all the way trough the movie.
beautiful main title and suspense especially the second track in the movie ,and that is unreleased yet

Though Bernard Herrmann's original is a classic, and a terrific score... My money is with Jerry Goldsmith's PSYCHO 2. I loved the movie, and Anthony Perkins was excellent. The main title was just beautiful. His music made you really feel for/hope that Norman had recovered from the events of his past.

As the film unfolds, Norman unravels... so does JG's score. The innocence becomes dark. As Norman finally breaks due to Lila and her daughter, the score is top notch horror/action. The combination of director Richard Franklin/Jerry Goldsmith (LINK) was superb.

Yes, an expanded release would be wonderful. The main title, as stated before, is just beautiful.

There was a suggestion from Doug a while back, that Intrada was working on getting out both: Psycho II and Psycho III, in the near future :wink:

I'd be up for both!

Yea I remember reading that too. Psycho II is one of my Top 3 JG scores so this got me really excited. When/if it does see the light of day, and if limited to only 3K units, it is all but guaranteed to sell out within 24 hrs. It's an all to predicatable pattern when it comes to OOP fan favorites (especially JG) that go for high $$$ on the secondary market. Hopefully it will be 5K units because it certainly qualifies, IMO of course.

I remember first listening to psycho II soundtrack in mid winter in the uk when it was first released. It actually works well listening to the score looking out of the window on a snowy day

I was watching the movie the other night with my girlfriend and as before noticed all the missing music. There's plenty more music for an expanded/complete score and for the life of me can't work out why more of the score was not released in the first place? There's always something wrong with soundtrack releases. Thank god for Intrada

Here's another request for Psycho II. I wouldn't mind both the complete score and the album presentation in one package but would really just be fine with the complete score. It's a long time coming.

I really hope 2012 is the year Psycho II finally gets released in complete form. I'm going to think positively about it until it appears before me.
