I gotta wonder how many computer keyboards Roger goes through what with him banging his head repeatedly into them in reaction to all the armchair record producing that goes on. People on the FSM board are just short of assuming Intrada's about to shut down for various reasons of their own invention. They still think the vaunted "shopping cart method" is the next best thing to the Rosetta stone, don't they? Seems to me the Intrada dudes been clearer than clear about what they're doing and why, but maybe not everyone can read so good.
Personal gripe: I had hoped that we would see a tapering off of the "day in the life of a film score collector" sort of posts, but I guess it goes with the Internet. But I shouldn't judge too harshly, I suppose. Presumbly someone out there enjoys reading endless variations on, "I read the announcement of *INSERT LABEL*'s new release, listened to the samples to get a feel for the music, and then ordered/did NOT order (delete as applicable) it." No point in kvetching about Thor's "I do not approve of this release" tune, I reckon - he's been playing it longer than some folks hereabouts have been alive. Not long ago he actually DEPLORED a particular CD, which made me giggle.

I'd leave everyone to it unmolested if someone didn't occasionally post something interesting in among it all, necessitating a certain degree of shoveling despite one's inclinations. Heigh ho.
