First, sorry to bug you about this, but I'm curious about something.

In listening to "The Lost Planet of the Gods", it occurred to me that there is a significant cue left off.

There is a massive fanfare, with choir, as the first shot of Adama and Apollo in front of the Pyramids, immediately after the star appears during the wedding.

I was wondering if this was going to be included as a bonus on a later volume?

BTW, very nice release, and thank you for getting this out there.

I just received mine today, and am giving it the first listen. It really sounds great. One little thing I'm noticing while listening on headphones is that while the Main Title and End Credits on each disc sound rock solid monaural, the other tracks all sound to me as if they have some variance in phase and/or amplitude between the left and right channels. For example, the horns on "Rough Ride" from disc two sound slightly left of center to me (or to the right if I reverse the headphones). It sounds to me to possibly be a synthesized stereo effect.

Anyway, a big thank you to those who made this happen. Battlestar Galactica is certainly one of my favorites, with a theme that is uniquely grand. I'm looking forward to future releases, and particularly hearing part 2 of the Main Title in stereo.

Thanks for putting this one out. I was happy to pick this up as an addendum to the 4-disc set from Stu in the late 90s.

I too missed the big choral cue on the exploration of the pyramids, but I understand if the material is not accessible.

There's one other cue I'm also curious about - when Starbuck rashly launches near the midway point of the episode, there's a repeated string and percussion piece which I haven't been able to find. This piece was later re-used to better effect for the opening of "Fire in Space" as the Cylons mount their ramming attack. Was this piece also lost, or could it be retrieved from the tracking for the later episode?
