Please, no narration. I can hear the narration in the film.

Put the narration in the Prologue track, then keep it out when you're reprising it for the Epilogue/End Credits (you guys ARE going to replicate that edit, right?). Everybody wins.

I'd like to throw my hat in the ring, on the "separate tracks please" side. Lots of reasons, most of them already stated... but mostly because if I wanted to, I could join them myself. But I can't unjoin them.

And please, no narration unless it's an alternate placed at the end of the program.

I still vote for film assembly, but I agree with no narration please.

Mako's narration is unnecessary, IMO: if I wanted to hear that, I can watch the film instead.

Not to mention, I don't think we've ever heard the original recording of the Prologue sequence without the narration anyway.

Why not, if it's legally possible and available, to include Makos Prologue ONLY (without) music, as an extra track and include the prologue drums as music only to the beginning to "Anvil of Crom" (as is on the Tadlow Release). Maybe with different Index markings.
So, the Audiofreaks could mix the Prologue only with the Prologue Drumsection, if they want a Symbiosis of both !

well I want Conans warrior speech (crush the enemies, see them driven before you...) on the CD too than I want that battleaxe swoosh too and...come on!!!
We want Poledouris music, and if there wil be some bonus alternatives that´s fine but not something necessary...

I do wonder how much more cost prohibitive a two-disc version would be that has the film presentation on one disc and the album assembly on the other. The first disc would have narration with the Prologue and the film assembly for the three cues in discussion, whereas the second disc would have no narration and separate the three cues. There would be lots of redundancy, but it appeals to all desires and allows for easy editing by the user. Some extras could also be tacked onto the second disc, like the definitive release for "First Blood."

Could this be done and reasonably be sold for 25-30 dollars? I will buy this release no matter what, but it is worth asking given how much polarity there is in consumer preference.
