I'm hoping someone can explain this to me....
On our local cable provider, we have something called Music Choice... it's about 40 different channels with different genres of music. Yes... there IS a filmmusic channel(Though they play mostly broadway crap).
They frequently play a piece from Giacchino's score for Star Trek... they only play ONE selection from his score, and it's "Hella Bar Talk". The first time I saw they were playing it, I immediately unmuted the TV, and was BOMBARDED by "Yakkity Sax"! Since I don't have the score CD, I was puzzled, and figured the channel made a mistake. Since hearing that piece on the Music Choice channel several months ago, they have played it MANY, MANY times, and EACH time, it's "Yakkity Sax", DESPITE the fact that it SAYS it's from Star Trek!
So finally, tonight I got on youtube, to see if someone had uploaded this particular track from Star Trek on to the site. Someone HAD put it on youtube, so I played it. On YOUTUBE, it sounded like normal filmmusic.....
CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME????? Did I even MAKE ANY SENSE????
