Conan The Barbarian (2 CD) Complete!

I've received the CD yesterday, and the recording is just INCREDIBLE. Conan has never sounded so gooooood. Tadlow/Prometheus have done something crucial for film music. A masterpiece has been reborn in its most glorious form ever !

Mine arrived today, along with Far From The Madding Crowd. Both are awaiting their first spins when I leave the office.

I just received my recent order of movie tunes from Intrada and included was the complete score from Conan. I just finished listening to that and WOW!!!!! That sucker blew me through the wall of my home! I can't believe how amazing and beautiful it sounded.... this is definitely a must have for anyone who loves the score. It's a and incredible tribute to Mr Poledouris' incredible talent and musicianship.

I am in musical heaven with this release! My favorite film score in a glorious new recording. Boy, what can I say? I have a Facebook fan page for the Barbarian score and I am plugging the new release there as well. Anybody feel free to join in. Huge thanks to Prometheus and James Fitzpatrick for doing this amazing score justice! Spread the news to all film score fans.

This CONAN recording is absolutely stunning; I received it last week -- almost forgot about it -- and I just can't stop listening to it. WOW, holy cow, I expected a lot, but sheesh... incredible. This recording surpasses Poledouris' soundtrack recording not just sound -- which would be easy, considering how relatively tinny the original CONAN recording sounds -- but the performance is clearly superior, considerably more on the mark. Finally, this score has been done justice. Hats off and cheers to all involved in the project. You have my everlasting gratitude.
