I don't find anything on internet database about this film and this composer

Step aside people, young Disney historian coming through.

I've no idea about the veracity of the above post - I've never seen the Davy Crockett series, so I can't be sure if the music claim is right, but I think there's maybe some bad translation going on in the quoted post.

Disney made three 1 hour Davy Crockett television episodes in 1954. The third episode was called "Davy Crockett at The Alamo" not the aforementioned "Escape from the Alamo" (presumably because he didn't, though it does kind of make it sound like a John Carpenter film) These three episodes were then edited into one feature length film for theatrical release entitled "Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier".

The music was by George Bruns, with additional lyrics by Tom Blackwell.

Actually, the more I read that post, the unknown "Vladislav Redenbaccher" stuff, the Johnny Cash stuff, I'm moving away from bad translation and starting to think the guy was just taking the piss. For a start the films are already on DVD, as part of the Walt Disney Treasures series.

Yeah, now I'm certain it's a "joke." In the word of Richard Harris in Juggernaut, "Everybody laughing?"
