You know -- I don't harbor any form of hate toward Hans Zimmer (what would be the point?), but equally, I don't necessarily harbor much interest, neither). He's a fine composer in some way or another, a non-insurgent in an era of film which is always in need of, both, speed and efficiency; he's often thematically-aware and hard-working, as they say from the banks of the glitzy coast. That being expressed, I don't have any passionate requests for his material getting presented onto CD, but I would like to have his work with Pete Hancock for their 1991 collaboration, Thelma & Louise, see a ray of sunshine someday. That was some beautiful music.
