My ear hears a fair amount of Previn style chords and sound in Hilda Crane. Could this interesting sound style have been picked up from Raksin by Andre when they worked together?

Sometimes I am slow! Really slow with my stroke brain!! Raksin could compose a love melody like few could. I am working on my review so I have had the opportunity to listen to it many times now and I am so impressed with both of these scores. Can't you just see Jane Russell's hip swaying to the opening main title of Mamie Stover? I sure can and more. It is repeated an awful lot like the Crane theme but both of them are deserving and for a change I still haven't got tired of listening to them yet.
