"Vamp", "Matrix" were crap, these were "Good", whether you hate them or not.

I personally liked some of the tracks on the two-fer, but not enough to get it. "Revolution" didn't grab me, which was surprising 'cause I kept reading how amazing this score was and I was prepared to hear something amazing, but I thought it was nothing more than what Goldenthal might bring in a above average effort.

"Freud" was something I have been wanting ever since I heard some clips over ten years ago (wow, been that long).


And "Freud" officially closes the book on "Alien", which is great for many fans of that film and it's score.


I think a lot of people are getting spoiled by NAME releases and "Holy Grails" from Intrada (an occassionally other labels) and can't appreciate the other efforts.


I for one, never judge a new limited edition until I have heard the samples (unless I've seen the film before and know the score, or it's Zimmer).

It's not as bad here as over on the FSM board but it sure seems like a lot of people missed their nap time or got their blankies taken away from them or something. I mean, good God!
