Ruby Raksin was an individual in his own right. I have a photo of him receiving an Academy Award (info below from Academy Award database):

Ruby Raksin {d. May 16, 1979}

I just started reading Lyn Murray's memoir and saw Ruby Raksin mentioned twice. The second time was in 1979 when Raksin "just dropped dead" (!)
