If you don't consider Cobb or Alien³ to be anything special, than I doubt you'll get anything more out of Interview with the Vampire, which is written in a similar vein.
I for one am continually amazed by both Cobb and Alien³, which I found extremely emotionally involving; both also feature interesting sonic experiments (it would have been nice if Alien³ had included the notes that were sent out with the promo copies, which detailed some of the more exotic orchestration). Goldenthal's style isn't for everybody, but it is explosive and moving for those who can get into his music.
If you prefer more traditional orchestral fare, you may wish to check out his Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, in which he grafted his style to the requirements of the genre with enormous results. Fantastic album assembly as well.
