I thought of Cadillac Freefall, Terminal Velocity (Joel McNeely) as well, which is a gigantic action cue. And Dock Fight, Eraser (Alan Silvestri) was on my mind too... Speaking of pure noisy action cue. The Ultimate War is more an adventure/fantasy cue...

I really like "The Jablonsky Variation on a Theme by HZ/Cameroon Border Post" from Tears of the Sun. It starts slow, but then the action comes and it goes back to a dramatic mood.

I wholeheartedly second Tai-Pan's mention of Trevor Jones' powerhouse track from Dark City. "You Have the Power" never fails to wow me. :!:

The very first scene that came to my mind when I saw the topic of the thread was the final chase/kill in Horror of Dracula. James Bernard certainly put his mark of film scoring in my opinion.
