As far as I'm concerned, it made my day when Intrada released Lawman. This was one of those scores I heard many years ago as a kid, watching the movie on TV. I must have been around ten years old or so, I don't know, and I audio taped it because the music score was so darn excellent. It's among those scores that "hooked" me on film music in the first place. When I was a teenager, I searched all the record stores for an LP of this score, but it was never to be found. Of course, it had never been released, but I couldn't know that... the Internet and all the information surplus we enjoy today was yet to come. So I don't really know what is the "best" Intrada special release, or which is my favorite score, because Bandolero! and Capricorn One are favorites of mine, too, but Lawman is the Intrada release I would part last with. So maybe it is my favorite. It's in any case special to me.
(I am wondering though... that cheesy-corny tag line: "He gave the West justice right up to its neck... then rammed more down its throat"... who is responsible for that? Was that the original tag line from the movie? The movie didn't deserve that... it's actually pretty good.)[/b]
