Regarding "patience" - 1) really wanted to give the excellent Intrada the "customer loyalty" business they deserve & 2) yeah, I really want to get these soon - CA to CA shipment vs. potential "across the USA" perhaps more than once depending on the manufacturing site and the agreements of shipping between Intrada and SAE. Sorry. "Promise" still stands.

Don't you pay state taxes if you order from Intrada and live in California, though?

Well I can only add to the chorus of grateful appreciation and say a big THANK-YOU to Intrada for this one!

1983 was a banner year for James Horner, having seen the release of films like Krull, Brainstorm, Testament, Uncommon Valor, Gorky Park, The Dresser and of course Something Wicked This Way Comes. It was no small disappointment that the Something Wicked score received no album release in '83, so it fabulous to have it at last! Bravo!

It was worth the wait. I prefer to order from Intrada direct.

What the shibber-ti-shabby are you talking about?! As far as I'm concerned, Intrada has joined the ranks of major labels a couple of years back. Don't undersell yourselves under-value, please!

Un-related: people, calm down! No matter if you could order yesterday or not, this CD is not going to ship until Thursday. And with 3000 copies around, you should have sufficient time to order! *shakes head*

Thank you, everyone at Intrada! This is one of my favorites from one of my favorite composers. Another of the "impossible ones"! We're very grateful for your ceaseless efforts preserving these gems.

Well, I can assure Mr. Horner and Rhodes their idea of "maximum listening pleasure" varies greatly from a number of score fans, including ones who have been waiting nearly 25 years, and for it to slip from the grasp of a studio that had previously been known to not be interested. Shame, we're here now and Disney is cooporating -- Horner should have put his idea of "maximum listening pleasure" aside and gotten it all out while we still hae the chance! And while the masters even still exist.

For goodness sake -- the thing is even shorter than the 14 track bootleg. Why Jamie, why?

btw, just wondering. Are there still any major James Horner's scores owned by Disney that has never been released? Of course, there is JOURNEY OF NATTY GANN, which is now the most important score to get from Disney vaults, but are there any others?

btw, it's great that there are some of those dozens of JH's 80s scores finally released... now if only we could get DEADLY BLESSING, WOLFEN and especially IN COUNTRY!
