Hi there,
since INTRADA has opened Disney's treasure chest for us soundtrack fans, here's my personal wish list of live action scores (Disney will probably never licence any animation soundtracks to another company). If Intrada can release just one of these scores, this would make a dream come true for me:
• White Fang - Basil Poledouris / Shirley Walker / Hans Zimmer (my #1 and most-wanted scores of them all!)
• Hocus Pocus - John Debney
• Shoot to Kill - John Scott
• The Rescue - Bruce Broughton
• The Journey Of Natty Gann - James Horner
• Something Wicked This Way Comes - James Horner
• The Black Hole - John Barry
Also interesting:
• Island at the Top of the World - Maurice Jarre
• Last Flight of Noah's Ark - Maurice Jarre
• Condorman - Henry Mancini
Any other suggestions?
Best regards,
Uwe

I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch of stuff, but:

Something Wicked This Way Comes (Delerue, rejected)

Inspector Gadget (Shaiman, rejected)

Ducktales (pilot, Steve Rucker & Thomas chase)
Ducktales (series, Ron Jones)
Ducktales: The Movie -- Treassure of the Lost Lamp (David Newman)

Cranium Command (David Newman)
(and various other Newman/Disney projects)

The Journey of Natty Gann (Horner)

(any unknown rejected score that might turn up)

Tarzan (if Silvestri did a rejected score -- never mind Mancina's)

Nowhere Man (series, Mark Snow)
As I recall a label, which I won't name, was going to do this until they found Disney owned the rights. If Intrada doesn't do it, hopefully they will help out with loosening hte rights for other people.

The Mighty Ducks (Newman)

From Touchstone Pictures:

Splash (Holdridge)

Turner & Hutch (if Horner did a rejected score)

Disorganized Crime (Newman)
Gross Anatomy (Newman)
Fire Birds (Newman)
Paradise (Newman)
My Father the Hero (Newman)

The Sixth Man (rejected, Randy Edelman)
Starship Troopers (complete, definitive, Poledouris -- fans will buy it regardless of the bootlegs and DVD isolated score)

The Horse Whisperer (rejected, Barry)

Holy Man (Silvestri -- one of my favorite Silvestri scores)

Play It to the Bone (rejected, William Ross -- if he wants to work with Intrada again on CD releases)

Titles I am unsure will be strong sellers, but have seen poeople ask for anyway:

The Rocketeer (complete, Horner)
Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (complete, Silvestri)

I'll stop there.

The Intrada/Disney connection may single handedly be the greatest thing to ever happen to David Newman. :D

I'd really like to see Newman's Mighty Ducks get a release.

I'm totally all for Those Calloways.

And...would Song of the South be too "out of the question"? Disney hasn't seen fit to issue it on CD yet. It may not be something they'll ever release on DVD, but it shouldn't impact that beautiful score.

My most wanted unreleased score is owned by Touchstone.

Howard Shore's fantastic score to AN INNOCENT MAN.

If this is released, I can die a happy man. :D

How about Thomas Newman's great score to Phenomenon. This one should've been released because the film was a hit in the summer of 1996.

Other mentions. Marc Shaiman's The Kid
A legitmate release of Good Will Hunting.
Danny Elfman's Dead Presidents
Adventures in Babysitting by Michael Kamen
Outrageous Fortune by Alan Silvestri
Tex by Pino Donaggio
Bad Company by Carter Burwell (This is definitely my favorite of his scores)
Metro by Steve Porcaro (another excellent score that should've been released)
The Inkwell by Terence Blanchard (one of Blanchard's early scores and excellent ones)
Turner & Hooch by Charles Gross (a guilty pleasure of a score) Horner really scored this?
Ransom by Howard Shore
One Good Cop by David Foster and William Ross
V.I. Warshawski by Randy Edelman
Noises Off by Phil Marshall
Fresh by Stewart Copeland
Betsy's Wedding by Bruce Broughton
Three Men and A Baby by Marvin Hamlisch

That's all I can think of at this point :D

You guys have pretty much hit all my favorites. But I would love to see the original scores for Escape To Witch Mountain (One of may all time favorite opening titles) and Herbie: The Love Bug released.
