Wow! Thanks, Intrada. This is great news! Being such a devoted Richard Band fan, this release makes me very happy. Keep 'em coming :-)

I tried to order the Ghost Warrior CD as soon as it didn't indicate "sold out", but the finalisation constantly crashed. 10 times.

So I went on SAE and ordered GW through them and it worked.
I usually order through Intrada but I was afraid to miss out on this very interesting Richard Band CD and I had to go, so I'm sorry for you guys.

No Boys from Brazil for me as it wasn't a title that particularily interested me... I hope you don't get stuck with 5000 copies of a less popular title than expected though !

Ghost Warrior is officially Sold Out. Man that was fast. I guess we were right about the growing audience of Richard Band... It seems that every new title of his released by Intrada is getting away faster and faster. Oddly enough, Mutant 1500 copies (Perseverance) are still around though it's a strong symphonic horror/adventure score !

I realize that Roger was correct in his assertion that "The Boys From Brazil" would be on some folks' grail list and others wouldn't want it...but it amazes me to read the presumption that just because it isn't someone's cup of tea that poor old Intrada is going to be stuck with 5,000 copies.

"The Boys from Brazil" is a "less popular" Goldsmith title? Really? I guess "The Blue Max" is a very minor title, then. Nowhere near the splendor of "Link", I guess. :roll:

Just because a few of you are disinterested in this title does not negate its importance to Goldsmith's career, to his wider fanbase (than this forum or over at FSM) and to film music fans worldwide. It's one of my three favorite Goldsmith scores, and this release gives not only the complete score but also remasters original elements (IIRC, Roger was never much enamored over the LP/CD mix, which I think Len Engel supervised. Now, it should be nearly perfect).

"The Boys from Brazil" is a MAJOR Goldsmith score that has never gotten a proper release, either on LP or CD, IMO.

I've always wanted more...and now we have it.
