As regards speculation threads & music discussion threads, a visit to and will show that clue-free boards can and do have music threads.

Yet, it's not about "the good guys who like to have fun" against "the bad guys who want nobody to have fun" at all; I have seen many comments like mine explaining repeatedly it was not the clue game in itself that was a problem but the way it got derailed, leading to frustration. "Stop reading" is not the solution, and it's throwing the brick at the wrong guys.

The way some threads multiplied ridiculously or just went on doing nothing but same old same old is only one factor among many; Roger pointed out the poll was only part of the equation.
La-La Land, Varèse, FSM and Intrada have stopped posting clues or even announcements for many reasons-- for instance, because some people complained when the announced date was not met and the release was delayed a bit.

Let's just enjoy the boards as they are; whether the labels post new clues, or don't any longer for some time or forever, does not seem to me that big an issue, nor the single most important thing one might look for and find in these places.
