I agree with you, Roger. I think the clues were also healthy for the labels, bringing a lot of attention to scores that otherwise might not have received it. Having just a little information about a possible realize lets everyone think it's *their* obscure little holy grail. Everyone gets a little excited about everyone else's grails all over again and when someone turns out to be right about the relase, a lot more people are interested in it, IMO.

I cast my vote to bring back the clues.

I've said it before, I love the clues...and whatever no need to go there AGAIN.

But it's interesting, I think even with all the clues that Doug gave, NOONE guesses Wargames (that I saw anyway) -- and yet, I didn't any disappointment either.

The clue game in itself is not the problem; I find it funny, and interesting when it leads to information being given on such or such score.

The problem is that those threads always quickly get drowned under the same old things repeated over and over again, and wading through them to find the interesting bits becomes bothersome just as quickly.

Maybe a new kind of clue game could be devised, which might help focus on the actual music & guessing and prevent the old "must release" / laundry list from returning-- and be original.

How about posting a very short sample? Nothing immediately identifiable, of course. This could be fun.
