Scott,
Yesterday, I received your score from BONE DRY (along with COMES A HORSEMAN, MARY, QUEEN OF SCOTS, and SWASHBUCKLER. Thank you, Intrada!). I wanted to share my response to the score, with you. I actually delayed going downtown, in order to finish listening to the complete recorded score and to read your excellent liner notes. That rarely happens. Your score is an interesting, nuanced one, interesting in a way that was similar to my response to Goldsmith's PLANET OF THE APES and Williams' CLOSE ENCOUNTERS. I also noticed how active my subwoofer was during the score. It is a refreshing change from the ambient wallpaper that characterizes so much of what directors, today, want in their films. I suppose acknowledgement should also be given to your director, Brett Hart, for allowing you to be true to your own creative instincts. Anyhow, I shall look forward to seeing how your music plays with the images and narrative in the film, at some point. Thanks for this! Best to you.
Bob
