Don't worry about the hand-held shaky cam on STAR TREK. I'm sure it was done for story effect on CLOVERFIELD.

And while I understand why it was shot that way, it's prevented me from going to see it as I am easily susceptible to motion sickness.

I heard that crappy youtube version of "Roar" and I found it just as wonderful as everyone has said, even in that poor format.

True, about the camerawork, but Abrams has used the same style
on LOST, and that incurs headaches at times too

The only other time I experienced motion sickness was on a helicopter
ride, and you're pretty screwed there in that there is no where to run
to! In this case I was glad I stayed (and didn't lose my lunch), since
Roar! is well worth it.

I ran home to re-read all the FSM posts about where this piece could
be found, and ended up with the YouTube version as well....trust me,
this thing sounds a MILLION times better than that.
