Since a new movie is coming out, I don't think we'll see an expanded release of the older three scores at the same time. LucasFilm probably wants to keep all the attention and the marketing strategies toward the release of the new score.

I think it will be more likely to see a boxset of all four scores when they will release the complete movie anthology on DVD and HD supports.

Concord just announced they will be releasing a 4-CD boxed set of all the Indiana Jones scores this fall, coinciding with the DVD release of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

One of the four CDs will be the KotCS score, so it looking very likely that the scores for the previous three films will be re-issues of the previous album arrangements, unexpanded.

This year was a huge opportunity to do complete releases. After 2008, market awareness and anticipation will never again be so high.

And they blew it. Instead, Lucas is too busy wasting his time and resources on "perfecting" Raiders with CGI.

The money spent on this pointless "enhancement" could have paid for the re-use fees and maybe some of the album production costs.

I'll bet Spielberg, an admitted soundtrack collector, has the complete scores burned onto diamond CDs, kept in solid gold jewel cases, with liner notes printed on hundred dollar bills.

I feel like Charlton Heston at the end of Planet of the Apes. My body is crumpling into the surf.

Is anybody here as disappointed (and disgusted) as I am?

I guess if you want to wait 4 or 5 months to hear the score (which I am sure will be dailed down in the picture) you can.

I'm only paying 9.99 to get it now and that's a bargain for a new Indy score I have been wating years for.

If the scores are expanded in the fall release, I'll buy the set and simply pass my extra copy along to someone as a Christmas present, same as do with all my dupilcate scores.
