Episode of THE FUGITIVE (Season 1). ROUSTABOUT (Elvis Presley movie). Episode of 24 (Season Four). SAW IV (on Blu-ray, so all the blood and guts were really crisp.)
I finally conked out on an action movie called RENEGADES
That was one looong evening home alone.
Let me see...
The Fugitive: saw that several years ago; really good
Roustabout: I didn't even know of the title
24, Season 4: I love this series
Saw IV: I missed the first one, so seeing any of the sequels (parts of which have already been spoiled to me it seems; particularly Jigsaw's identity) wouldn't have made much sense; I'm still interested in watching the series, though, as I liked the concept (how far will you go?)
Renegades: don't know that one either
how's that for random viewing... and really useless trivia?
More trivia about eclectic tastes: my latest DVD orders (Christmas) included
- Cinderella (before the Platinum Edition went the magic pumpkin way)
- The Call of Cthulhu (by The H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society; excellent reviews and great trailer)
- Serenity (still have to watch the show first, but there was a great deal on it)
- Fantastic Four (never seen, supposedly not another Spider-Man, but I think it will be at least fairly good entertainment, I like Ottman's score, the price was great too, and there are lots of long special features, especially one on Jack Kirby, so I couldn't lose)
- Charlotte's Web (another blind buy; I loved it)
- Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon (not Saw's level of gore, but a very good little movie, with a very very nice take on the genre-- incidentally, I believe it's in season 4 of 24 that Angela Goethals played the sick daughter of the temporary head of the agency)
