After we get complete releases of:
Spartacus
Back to the Future
The Ten Commandment
Conan
Indiana Jones trilogy
and the often requested Marathon Man...


What will people bitch about or guess Varese will do next?

Star Trek episode scores, complete Star Trek movie scores....

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm still eagerly awaiting James Horner's propulsive and exciting score to the Judge Reinhold classic, OFF BEAT (not to be confused with a Porno with the variant title and an obvious play on words.)

One can still dream... as it would look great right there with those BENJI scores.

Oh no no no... After these scores would be released it's all over for the Old guard.

Then someone should begin with the nineties! After all, we're already in 2008, almost.
I would for instance beg for complete releases of Williams's Harry Potter scores (well, especially the third one), Minority Report, Arnold's Shaft, The World Is Not Enough, Elfman's Mission: Impossible, The Nightmare before Christmas, Mark Snow's The X-Files Movie.
Also: more from the X-Files TV series, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, etc.

Due to the nature of soundtrack fans in general, there will always be something for soundtrack lovers to complain about not having. Even if everything they thought they could ever want is made available, they'll find something.

"Yes, I realize this 40-disc Brad Fiedel collection is pretty definitive... but I happen to know that there were THREE alternate demos of that cue from 'True Lies', and this set only includes two of them. Geez, when will someone give us a PROPER release of this composer's work? Intrada? FSM? Are you listening?"

I would be pretty tickled to see any of the old Combat TV show score material become available. Loved the show as a kid and have revisited some of the episodes through signing out the collections from the local library. There was a diversity of composers it seemed but some real quality music for the tube as well.
