Sh*t, I love you guys!

This is indeed without a doubt the release of the year!

Incredible release in a year full of stellar releases. I can't order this right now but I will. Thank heaven it's not limited!

Echoing other sentiments:

This release will be pretty hard to top, but don't let that stop you from trying! Seriously, I enjoy most of your releases. Max Dugan Returns for example. I really had no expectations and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Smaller scores are just fine with me.

I sincerely hope that there will be no Varese or any other label bashing. Not trying to step on Intrada's toes or anything but Varese has given us some real classics and often requested titles. Just to name a few: The Robe, Ghostbusters, Stripes, Predator, The'Burbs, The Sand Pebbles, etc.
FSM brought us the Elmer Bernstein FIlm Music collection, The Egyptian, Mutiny on the Bounty and too many others to count.

A very well done to your crew and all the others out there who bring us such incredible works!

Christmas has come early!

When Intrada asked for samples from potential liner-note writers a while back, I sent in a booklet for Alien ... for two reasons: because I knew it was something I could write about enthusiastically (who couldn't?!) and because I thought it would make them chuckle (and Roger roll up into a ball and whimper!). I titled my submission "Nice daydream" ... and now it's come true!

Congratulations and thanks, Intrada, for this fantastic release! Truly one of the holiest of holy grails, and a real crowning achievement in what has been an astonishing year for the label.



P.S. And I can't wait to read Michael's liner notes, because I've no doubt that they are miles better than mine!!
