I have just done my best to calm Marlene down and find out what is going
on. She has no idea who sent off that email since she did not.
Nevertheless Gregory is very very sick.

He has been running a fever for over a week. He does not go to doctors.
Last night he had a heart attack. He has suffered from some 'cyst' at
the base of his spine for years that erupts. He was pumping himself with
Aleve and vitamin supplements. He had the air conditioning on and fans.
He was downing liquid after liquid.

Right now his kidneys have failed. He has no blood pressure. And other
things as well.

I told Marlene to stay calm, though I know that is impossible. That the
doctors are doing what they can, piece by piece. I chatted with a friend
who is a nurse before calling her so I would have a better idea what this
is all about... unless they can isolate the cause of this, his body will
begin to shut down organ by organ. She appreciated the phone even though
she didn't know who the hell I was. I told her I would give her a call
tomorrow. The poor thing is lost and confused and frightened.

Update on Greg from his sister.......

I am so sorry about the email that I had sent out to all of you yesterday, about my brother Greg being in the hospital. Right now Greg has not regained consciousness, and they are doing a blood transfusion to him now as we speak. I felt the need to let all of you know his condition, I was able to send it from Greg's email because I originally set up this account and password for my brother. Marlene has not been near the computer since the incident, which the doctors are still not sure what the underlying cause is for what is going on. He was delusional on Sat. when Marlene called me and he went by ambulance to UPMC Mckeesport , they had noted that his blood sugar was 1400 ten times the normal limit, which may have put him into a diabetic coma, but Greg has never been diabetic, so they are still trying to determine the cause of his blood sugar going out of whack. As of today his blood sugar is down to 400. I hope and pray that he has not suffered any brain damage. But with your prayers I hope that he recovers. I'll update you with whatever I find out.
