10 years after the brutal end of the fabulous Hollywood ascension (avalanche of box office successes, tons of soundtracks sold, one of the biggest collection of academy awards ever) of Alan Menken, he's back !

This new movie about an animated fairy tale princess becoming a live action character, brings together once again the terrific tandem Menken/Schwartz (best known for having composed and written the music/songs for the academy nominated/winning soundtracks of Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre-Dame in 1995 and 1996). It's been 11 years since their last collaboration, and the legend is once again being written right before our eyes (or ears) !

Album coming out on 11/20 on Walt Disney Records (hoping for a lot of score in it !)

Great to have another Menken musical coming. Hope they're letting him return to traditional Broadway-style music again, as his post-Hunchback efforts became increasingly pop-based.
