That was the year "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" was released.
That's a score that I would like to see in an expanded edition.
Since Intrada did 3 double cd's of Spielbergs Amazing Stories,
and he is a man who loves soundtracks as much as we do (or even more?),
I expect him to be very pleased by the way these excellent cd's turned out.
So I can very well imagine mr. Spielberg choosing Intrada
for re-releasing (as if he personally oversees all these things... )
all of Indiana Jones related scores (past/present and future)
Since he must be one of the most powerful men in Hollywood I don't think
that the fact it's a Paramount Picture (or did they only the distribution?)
will make the difference. And maybe he was a bit dissapointed by the
Silva treatment of "Raiders" that had a serial-number "Raiders 001",
unfortunately I never saw 002 or 003....

And by Future Indiana Jones I'm referring to this... or is that a hoax?

Goonies - 1985..... damnit!

Any score release of the 80's is a great event (I'm a 80's kid too ) !
Of course we always guess the same titles : Back to the Future, Gremlins, The Goonies, Innerspace etc. Doug and Roger, you must be annoyed or laughing, as usual, but it's just because we don't want you to forget them ever so that they don't rot in some dirty vault forever et that one of these days, they would become actual CDs.

I was told the main constraint to the Back to the Future release was the MCA album that is still in print and still sells (I was told that by Alan Silvestri in an interview of him that I was involved in 5 years ago).

For Gremlins, some rumors say that the masters are deteriorated or lost.

For Goonies and Innerpace I don't understand the constraint, since it's Warner titles and very much demanded scores !
