I completely forgot to mention this! Things have changed. It's not two special collection titles, but one special collection title and one signature edition. It's May 6th that has two special collection titles.

So that means 1 Limited Edition release and 1 release that is not limited right? How many copies will there be 3,000 or less?

That means both are limited. One is limited to 3000, the other to 1000.

The 3,000 will be an obscure Goldenthal score, and the 1,000 will be a treassured Goldsmith that will sell out in ten hours.

Christopher Young has listed on his site:

Species
Intrada
Score Only (New Version)

And I recall him mentioning another score coming by Intrada (maybe bad recollection).

One more week until the next two, so let's speculate. No clues, so we'll have to find out own ... "Clue" -- that's it. There's a score a few people have asked for.

But since we don't have any clues, we'll have to travel back to the past to get some, then back to ... "Back to the Future"!

Of course -- it all makes perfect sense now!

Whatever the titles are, it's worrisome that Roger and Doug aren't so excited that they're spilling over with garrulousness about them.

Actually, I'm *very* excited about these two titles. But that doesn't mean anything to anyone else. I was very excited about METALSTORM.

...and for the record, METALSTORM is a TERRIFIC album, I've been spinning it a lot over the past few months - HIGHLY recommended to 80's fantasy fans, great notes-presentation - a real new fave, and I'm floored that it didn't sell out yet!!

I forgot to say thanks for getting this released Roger, at least one person out here appreciates it....I thought Band's remark that 'had a soundtrack album been released at the time of the film, who knows where my career would have gone' was a little bittersweet....oh and David Newman was in the 2nd vln. section....so there ya go....

I agree, Metalstorm is really a great SF score from the 80's, becoming one of my favorites with each listening !

To the contrary, I'm pumped. We're finally offering the action score that I kept confusing everyone over. Yep, the one with all the extra brass. Typical orchestras use 4 horns, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones & 1 tuba. But we're talking 5 horns, some 6 trumpets, a half dozen trombones, 2 tubas AND a pair of rarely-used baritones! And we had access to all of the actual 2" 24-track session masters to capture everything in spectacular sound. If this one's up your alley, I suggest you play it loud. Maybe your neighbors will like it, too!

What, no cornets, flugelhorns, Wagner tubas, or bass trumpets? :D

But as a colorful orchestration lover, I can't wait for this one, I hope...

Lots of brass & the composer is still alive, this should be easy!
