Magnum, P.I. Needs an Album Release Now

For a few reasons, it seems that reboots mark a death knell for original series scores to get a release within a reasonable amount of time. One such silly reason is that studios don't want to create confusion in what is marketed.

Well, Magnum, P.I. is getting a reboot. Now is the time to get a few discs worth of the original series' material out before the new series mucks it all up.

We really need to see the original HAWAII FIVE-O scores released before a MAGNUM CD...

I totally agree that "Magnum,p.i." deserves a score release. But I would extend it to a "Mike Post & Pete Carpenter Collection Vol. I (II, III?) with maybe six CDs (similar to LLL's "Mission: Impossible" Set). So we would have a wide range of Post's and Carpenter's work, starting with "The Rockford Files" (I want the open fifths theme!!!) on Disc 1, "Magnum" on Disc 2, "A-Team" etc. . It depends of course on, what tapes are available (I personally don't think that all tapes are stored or still usable). I hope that Intrada or LLL will do it some day. Nevertheless I started to write down the periods where music is hearable in the epsiodes. Don't know whether it is useful but I will carry on.

P.S.: A two or three disc set from "Airwolf" would be nice too. There is some great synthesizer music in many episodes, but especially well is the music for the pilot movie, because a real orchestra plays Levay's music.
