Given that Intrada has already released Jaws 2 - 4 this year, this suggestion may be too late but here I go anyhow:
Like many of you, I am hoping for a remastered release of the score to the original Jaws. I would expect that it would follow the format of Jaws 2: two discs with the full score and the 1975 album. However, there is some additional content that I'm pining for.
In 1991 Sony Classical put out the album The Spielberg/Williams Collaboration and it was a compilation of music from all the films they had worked on to that time. These were re-recordings conducted by John Williams with the Boston Pops Orchestra. The disc included two Jaws tracks: a recording of the "Main Title" (which is the best performance of the Jaws theme I've ever heard) and "Out to Sea/Shark Cage Fugue," an arrangement of those two pieces together. Like a lot of Sony Classical releases, the sound levels aren't great but it would be very gratifying to hear them remastered and included as bonus material in an expanded Jaws release.
There is also some source music that would be neat to have such as the fair music from the 4th of July beach scene. Also, the Ben Gardner's Boat scene (music cue: "Night Search") was re-shot in post production and so I wonder if there are alternate versions of this piece.
