After JAWS3D that already was released and back in the complete form I wish that it can repeat with SHOGUN that I think deserves a more complete issue, I love Intrada CDS and wish for more Jarre's in this great label, for me the best one.

I think James Fitzpatrick stated not too long ago that he believed a label was working on this. I would search for it, but I try to avoid the FSM forum as much as possible.

It would be a fantastic album for sure.

I suggested this ages ago, it's disappointing it has not eventuated (considering what a high profile the TV series has maintained). Encouraging news as already stated. But would this impending release be a new recording (as with Prometheus' QB VII) or the original tracks?

It would be the original tracks.

I prefer original tracks I think like Jesus Of Nazareth that has a very ethnic instrumentations is complicated to reproduce it in a new recording

I don't think it would be impossible to evoke the character of the ethnic instruments, considering the current high state of synthesizers. Paul Bateman conducted a very convincing suite from JESUS OF NAZARETH for Silva (and it's encoded in HDCD and Dolby Surround, for those who care).

I have appreciated all recordings of Tadlow, but on NOTRE DAME OF PARIS the tracks of THE MESSAGE (that is very ethnic) it was not good, very distant from the original.

I have the recording in question, but as yet have not played the suite from THE MESSAGE. What I really found compelling was the 25-minute ballet suite for NOTRE DAME DE PARIS. I was fortunate to see on TV the recent La Scala production which resurrected the original Roland Petit choreography. It's really unfortunate that there isn't an extended recording available of the music, because in my opinion it really is extraordinary stuff.
